USPS provides change of address information through the use of NCOA processing. For this reason, they identify mailers through the Processing Acknowlegement Form (PAF). The PAF indicates that mailers, like you, understand that the use of the COA data is restricted. In addition, licensees are also protected by the PAF if a mailer abuses the intended use of the product.
TrueNCOA previously created the PAF automatically using your registration information. Moving forward, users will be required to fill out their organization's PAF details within the application. You will be prompted to complete the PAF once you have logged into your account.
This information will be used to complete the Processing Acknowlegement Form (PAF) with the USPS. For more information on what is required to complete the PAF, see the Complete Guide to Processing PAFs.
The USPS requires an NAICS code for your organization. You can search for the code that best describes your organization's primary activity within the PAF form by keyword or specific NAICS code.
Your PAF information must be submitted and approved prior to exporting any files.
